I'm soo late in the game. Jack Black and Neil Patrick Harris get together with other names in the bix and make a hilarious musical about Prop 8.

What else does the Bible say Jesas?

Well, it looks like someone's filming for their reality show. Paris Hilton and Kathy Griffin hit up Robertson Blvd. in Beverly Hills this afternoon. The two new BFF's both wore teal outfits, and Kathy made it apparent that she was wearing teal panties as well. Smart move on Kathy's part. Not the showing of the panties, but the panty color.

Paris paraded around her little puppy during the duo's stops at Kitson and Lisa Kline. Kathy just kept lifting up her skirt for the cameras. Kathy kills me. She and Paris are PERFECT for one another. They should be BFF's! --http://socialitelife.celebuzz.com/

Bb Pilipinas pageant director Stella Araneta says that this year's group is the most promising so far and, yes, it definitely is. Here are my faves for this year's Bb Pilipinas.

#9 April Love Jordan, 20, Ilocos Sur, Model
#23 Barbara Salvador, 22, Marikina City, Stock investor
#22 Priscilla Mae Honorio, 21, Southern Leyte, Nursing student
#11 Regina Hahn, 26, Manila, Project manager
#12 Jaysel Arrozal, 18, Valenzuela City, Tourism student
#2 Carishiela May Kuijpers, 21, Parañaque City, Business Mangement graduate

It's crucial for us to get the best candidates in the top 2 spots – Bb Pilipinas–World and Bb Pilipinas–Universe. We've had a really long semi-finalist drought in Miss Universe (despite a strong Lia Andrea Ramos) and we have yet to win a Miss World crown (which eluded Carlene Aguilar). Hopefully we'll do good and I hope Ines Ligron flies in from Japan to help us.

Bb Pilipinas is tonight, March 7. Look for it on TV. :-)

I would like to thank the Academy and my biggest thanks to Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo's administration for declaring Monday as a working holiday. Instead of boring myself with math, I get to join Hugh Jackman and the world. Lezzgow!

This is a rare year for me since I was able to watch most of the nominees and so I can finally make a prediction/favorites list. I won't predict any winners for categories I don't know that much about such as the shorts.

Visual Effects: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Oh c'mon. I bet you also went "Wooooah" when that submarine came out of the water.
Alternate choice: Iron Man

Foreign Language Film: Waltz with Bashir
Documentary Feature: Man on Wire
No doubt. I don't even have to watch it.

Sound Mixing: Wall-E
The voices of Wall-E and Eve alone are strong enough to help Ben Burtt win.

Sound Editing: The Dark Knight
Boom!

Original Score: Alexadre Desplat for "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button"
I'm going against what a lot of people are saying. Individually, the scores aren't strong but, taking the score collectively, wow.
Alternate choice: A.R. Rahman for "Slumdog Millionaire" – Might win.

Original Song: "Down to Earth", Peter Gabriel and Thomas Newman for "Wall-E"
Totally the wrong nominees. Epic fail, Academy.
Should have been nominated: "Gran Torino", Jaime Cullum and Clint Eastwood for "Gran Torino" and "The Wrestler", Bruce Springsteen for "The Wrestler"
I still think "Gran Torino" should've won the GG.

Cinematography: Slumdog Millionaire
Victorious child covered in feces and spotting your one true love in a crowded train station. Laveht.
Level of difficulty: 5/5. It's hard to do that in the slums of Mumbai. Watch the CNN feature.

Film Editing: Slumdog Millionaire

Makeup: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
1 name, 1 word: Brad Pitt, teenager.

Art Direction: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button

Adapted Screenplay: Slumdog Millionaire

Original Screenplay: Wall-E

Best Animated Feature: Wall-E

Best Supporting Actress: Penelope Cruz, "Vicky Cristina Barcelona"
Penelope's last scene with Javier and Rebecca seals the deal.
Interesting note: TIME's Corliss says that this is the strongest category and I agree.

Best Supporting Actor: Heath Ledger, "The Dark Knight"

Best Actress: Kate Winslet, "The Reader"
I think it's about time.

Best Actor: Sean Penn, "Milk"
Wonderful. Charming. He totally deserves this.
Snub: Clint Eastwood, "Gran Torino"

Best Director: Danny Boyle, "Slumdog Millionaire"
Level of difficulty: 5/5. Execution: Nearly flawless.

Best Picture: Slumdog Millionaire
A rare gem of a movie that pushes all the right buttons generates all the cliché praises in the world.
Snub: Revolutionary Road
Epic snub: Wall-E

Sorry Kenny Ortega and Miley. Not this year. Go back to your photo scandals.
